Opening the grown-ups screen
Press and hold the person button at the bottom of the Home screen for three seconds. From there you can unlock the full app, restore a purchase, switch music on or off, and replay the welcome tour.
Restoring a purchase
On a new device, or after reinstalling, open the grown-ups screen and tap Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account that made the purchase. With Family Sharing on, family members get the unlock too.
No sound?
Card names play even with the ring/silent switch on. Turn up the volume with the side buttons. If you still hear nothing, check that the device isn't connected to Bluetooth headphones or a speaker.
Keeping your child inside the app
Turn on Guided Access in Settings → Accessibility → Guided Access, then triple-click the side button while Baby University is open.
